This century-old warehouse, located in the Cotton Exchange building in Cotton Green, was a design challenge. The initial task was to restore its stability and redo the wooden trusses without changing the overall layout of the structure.
Bringing back the original wooden texture and color and restoring its original glory required an extraordinary feat.
During the entire restoration process, wood elements were salvaged and reused to make wooden brackets. To match the rustic look of the entire premises, all matte finishes were applied to decorate furniture items, including using anti-skid vitrified tiles for the entire flooring.
To provide an unobstructed feel throughout the length of the warehouse and engage users, glass partitions and doors were used to segregate the spaces.
